Initial Appointments
60minutes is allocated for every initial appointment.

We spend 45minutes piecing together your health (past and present), eating habits (how, when, what and why), your motivations and goals. We then spend the last 15min formulating a plan around your health goals and put in place some strategies that align with those goals.

You will be given some homework to do. Most likely some recording (ie food diaries, bowel tracking, hunger and fullness tracking etc), reading material and behaviour or dietary changes to implement.

Lastly we will plan your appointment schedule.
Review Appointments
30-45minutes

Depending on your needs, a review appointment may be 30 or 45minutes. Depending on the complexity of the case, we may allow extra time. Generally the first review appointment may require to be longer and subsequently shorter thereafter.

Each review, we go over your experiences, actions and reflections of what you have done since the previous appointment. We look at what strategies were applied and whether they were negative or positive in relation to your goals and life style. We also spend time working through barriers that were encountered with making habit changes. We also spend time making sure there is an improvement in food and nutrition knowledge; Why and how certain foods are important to your own health journey.

At the end, you never leave an appointment without a plan. We give you strategies or food goals to implement, along with any further recording homework or handouts to read.
